We’ve put together a few options for things to do at home, some of which you may not have considered yet – hopefully you will find them useful.
Learn something new (for free)!
This one could be useful for you, or for keeping the family entertained. Adding to a growing bank of skills is never a bad thing – so why not try one of these…
• Duolingoenables you to learn languages, FREE, forever. You can connect with friends and earn points, learning anything from French and German, to Japanese and Scottish Gaelic! Again, it’s suitable for everyone.
• Khan Academy is offering parents FREE tools to plan schedules for home learning, as well as boasting free resources from pre-school to test prep for exams such as SATs. From maths and English to art history and animation, there’s something for everyone!
A tidy house leads to an organised mind (allegedly), so why not get the polish and the hoover out for a spin? If you’re feeling more creative, you could try Twinkle Clean’s “10 Ingenious Ways to Clean with a Lemon” – and unleash one upon your fridge, kettle or microwave…
Cards and projects
Why not send a home-made card to friends and family? You can see one made by our Customer Services Team Leader, Louise, above! You could also buy homemade to support arists such as Allicatink on Etsy, or create a detailed mini room model?
