Rubber Suspension Trailer Axles:
Available in braked and unbraked versions from 500-3000kg, Rubber Suspension Axles are considered the most reliable and up-to-date form of suspension. With a full-width beam, they add rigidity to the chassis – all with the performance of individual suspension. They’re constructed using strands of rubber in a length of box, with the suspension arm pressed in-between. The drop arm rotates when weight is applied, which gives you your suspension. It’s helpful to use the form above to provide us with the correct measurements for your replacement axle.
Solid Beam Trailer Axles:
These are not as common anymore, but they can still be used alongside Leaf Springs. They’re made up of a solid bar with stubs on the ends; these allow brakes to be fitted. You can purchase either braked or unbraked Solid Beam Axles, with a range of stud patterns for different wheels. Weight capacities range from 500kg to 3000kg.
We’re here to help, so it may be easier for you to email us a photo of your axle. Make sure there is a clear view of any technical information, as this avoids us having to ask you for more information.
