The Flexitow is a mounting designed to alleviate the problems caused when towing a light trailer (up to 3500kg GVW) behind rigidly spring commercial vehicles. The flexitow is targetted at any commercial vehicle operator who tows such a trailer, trailer mounted plan and equipment or a caravan. When using a trailer ball mounted directly on the chassis or via a drop plat, very often, excessive damage adn premature wear is caused to the trailer coupling and towing equipment. This is because most commercial vehicles have a very hard suspention which transmits strong vibrations via the towball reducing its service life.
